I'm still here, really. I have just not been here. I really miss reading journals and weblogs, and writing my own, but I just haven't had time to keep up.

But work is amazingly swimmingly smashing and I am healthy and happy except for when I'm missing Brian (Monday through Friday) or when I'm missing the kid (same).

And I have SO much to write about! And what is up with Elizabeth and I both moving hundreds of miles and getting jobs in new cities at the same time? Did you know that we both moved to San Diego and Toronto within a few months of each other too?

We've had several similar earlier experiences, and it's very cool as long as I don't ever end up in Nebraska...

December 3rd:

If I were a work of art, I would be Claude Monet's Waterlilies.

I am soft and gentle, but very colourful. Although based in reality, I look at the world through a filter of impressions which shape how I see things. Splashes of light help to define my presence and bring an endearing quality.
